In an early televised game on Canal + Siena outbattled Chievo 4-1 i a game that was never in doubt as to who was the best side.
Mattia Destro was on target twice with Gaetano D'Agostino and, finally, Emanuele Calaio scoring for the home side.
Davide Moscardelli scored a consolation for an off-colour Chievo, who remain just three points above the bottom three.
The first half was relatively even with a lone Siena goal being the difference. The second half started relatively brightly for Chievo, but a second and then third goal sealed the Flying Donkeys' fate.
The only bright spots for Chievo came from Davide Moscardelli who had a super freekick that was barely saved and finally, a goal to make it 3-1.
It seems that Chievo has lost the offensive touch needed to win Serie A games. They seem very toothless against Siena and were always destined to lose the match. There have got to be some changes if Chievo stays out of the battle at the bottom of Serie A.
Chievo's next match is a home game against improved Fiorentina next Sunday.
FORZA CHIEVO!
