Chievo proved once again to be Juventus' bogey side as they held the Bianconeri to a goalless draw at the Stadio Bentegodi in today's Serie A clash.
Juve coach Antonio Conte had said on the eve of the game that this would be a real test of his side's title aspirations since they have always found it tough against the Flying Donkeys in the past, and they struggled once again in Verona.
Alessandro Del Piero hit the post, but that was as close as the league leaders came on a frustrating afternoon.
There was no doubt that Juve had the best of things with 13 shots as opposed to only 4 by Chievo and had possession of the ball 63% of the time. Nevertheless, it was a head-scratching day for the league leaders, a day which saw five goalless draws around Serie A on the same afternoon.
Chievo can be satisfied with this fine result even though it meant only one point. The main thing is to amass a point or three in as many games as possible. Chievo's next match is an away affair against a good, but struggling Inter next Sunday.
